Responsibilities:
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel vehicles, including oil changes and inspections.
- Support experienced mechanics in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Document repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
- Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in diesel mechanics is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Previous experience in automotive or diesel repair is an advantage.
